New office and amenity areas for Trailfinders Kensington

Trailfinders is a travel consultant and tour operator with a strong reputation and a well-known brand. It focuses on creating bespoke holidays for customers and offers a range of complementary services such as dealing with VISA applications and carrying out vaccinations.

Trailfinders are the UK’s largest independent travel agent who are making strong progress, with unrivalled expertise in foreign travel and customer service.

Following a rise in customer interest in cruises, one of the company’s two branches on Kensington High Street in London underwent a major refurbishment in August 2016. This transformed it from an administration base into a dedicated premium travel and cruise centre.

Project

The purpose of the refurbishment was to create a travel centre that would reflect the luxury holidays on offer, so a sleek minimalist design was chosen for it.

DRF worked closely with Trailfinders, as well as the design team and other contractors, to design and fit the electrical layout of the travel centre. This included all the lighting and power to serve the client’s needs.

We are experienced in working as part of a team of contractors, and understand the importance of collaboration and communication on a project where different contractors are involved. Collaboration on this project was key to ensuring that our work fitted perfectly with the concept aims of the new office, while fulfilling all electrical requirements.

Since re-opening, the company says it has seen a significant increase in sales.
